Brave

Brave is a bright ocean-blue semi-permanent hair dye with bold pigment and a fearless alternative edge. Apply to pre-lightened hair for the most vibrant blue result, or use on darker bases for a more subtle blue tint.

Brave is made for bright blue hair with a confident, ocean-inspired finish. This highly pigmented semi-permanent shade gives a vivid blue result on light or pre-lightened hair and a softer blue tint on darker bases.

For the most vivid and long-lasting result, we recommend applying Brave to pre-lightened hair. The colour gradually fades over time into softer pastel blue tones, depending on your hair base, hair condition and aftercare routine.

Brave is a shade for self-expression, confidence and walking your own path.

For the brightest and most even result, apply Brave to light or pre-lightened hair.

On very light blonde or bleached hair, Brave gives the most vibrant ocean-blue result. On darker blonde or brown hair, the shade can appear deeper, softer or more subtle.

Always do a strand test before colouring to check how the shade turns out on your own hair.

1. Prep

For the brightest blue result, pre-lighten your hair first with Attitude Ghosted Bleach.

2. Dye

Apply Brave evenly to clean, dry or towel-dried hair. Make sure the colour is fully worked through from roots to ends for an even result.

3. Rinse & care

Rinse until the water runs mostly clear. Keep your colour fresh for longer with colour-friendly aftercare, such as Holyplex Haircare.

Get creative with Brave. Mix it with Proud for a bright neon purple shade, or blend it with Toxic for a neon aqua-inspired result.

You can also mix Brave with Free for a fresh spearmint-blue tone or with Moody for a deeper custom blue.

Always test your mix on a strand first before applying it to your full head.

Brave is a semi-permanent direct dye. The final result depends on your starting hair colour, porosity, hair condition and previous treatments.

Blue shades perform best on light or pre-lightened hair. On warmer or yellow-toned bases, the final result may appear more teal, greenish or muted. For the best result, always do a patch test and strand test before colouring. Follow the instructions on the packaging carefully.
